Newark and Sherwood District Council is making residents aware of changes to bin collection dates over the forthcoming bank holidays.

So, if your normal collection day was Monday, 25th April, your bin will be collected on Saturday, 23rd April.
If your normal collection day was Monday, 2nd May, your bin will be collected on Saturday, 30th April.
If your normal collection day was Monday, 30th May, your bin will be collected on Saturday, 28th May, and if your normal collection day was Monday, 29th August, your bin will be collected on Saturday, 27th August.
Residents whose bin collection days fall on the other bank holidays on Friday, 22nd April and Friday, 29th April, will have their bins emptied as normal.
Stickers have also been placed on residents’ bins over the last two weeks, giving information about bank holiday collection arrangements.
Residents with internet access can use the council’s online bin calendar to check when bin collections are being made. Simply go to www.nsdc.info/RefusePublic/search.aspx and enter your street name to find out. You can also print off a copy of your annual bin calendar.
