Bilsthorpe Ladies Running Club is launching ‘Learn to Run’, its first six-week course for beginners aimed at helping ladies of all abilities aged over 18 to get running.
The club, established around two years ago, was runner-up in this year’s Women’s Running magazines ‘Group of the Year’ competition.
Members meet every Monday at 7pm by the Scout hut on Eakring Road, near to the War Memorial.
Newcomers are invited to join them on any Monday throughout October.
A dedicated run leader coach will offer motivation, advice and support.
The cost for the course is 50p a week, including escorted runs on a Monday and Thursday evening, with qualified support.
