Big hearted DJs raise £500 for Jacob

New Year disco organised by big hearted Sutton DJs raised £1,000 for a boy with a rare life limiting disease and his school.

Father and son team Andy and Dan Collins, who run Venus Sound organised the event at the Bentinck Miners Welfare Club.

Seven-year-old Jacob Brentnall, of Kirkby suffers from Sanfilippo Syndrome, a disorder of the brain and nervous system that will eventually lead to severe disability and mental impairment.

Jacob’s mum Hanna, said: “We would like to thank Andy and Dan for supporting us and everybody who came and donated. It is amazing what people have done for us.”
