Big day in Parliament

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE charity Framework hosted its first ever reception at the Houses of Parliament yesterday as the organisation’s 10th anniversary celebrations continued.

The reception was entitled ‘Tackling Homelessness – Prevention or Crisis?’ and was attended by around 100 MPs, senior civil servants, charity chiefs and representatives of Framework and The Nottingham Building Society, which funded the event.

It was made possible by cross-party sponsorship from Mansfield’s Labour MP Sir Alan Meale and Patrick Mercer, Coservative MP for Newark.
