Benefit match set up in memory of tragic Mansfield man

A charity football match will be held in memory of a popular Mansfield man who died suddenly in his sleep.

Well-known town centre travel agent Craig Wilson (33) was found in bed by his mother Sue in September last year.

The match between Bridge Tavern All Stars and Wilson’s All Stars at Rainworth Miner’s Welfare on Saturday (1st June) and kicks off at 2pm.

On the day there will be a burger bar and ice cream van. Entry to the ground is £2 for adults and free for children.

A fundraising raffle will be held with prizes including Mansfield Town Tickets, a Ted Baker gift set, a £50 Voucher at Marco Pierre Whites and a meal for two at Yates among many more.

While a signed Nottingham Forest shirt and goalKeeper gloves are among the prizes on offer in a fundraising auction for the late football mad Liverpool fan.

All proceeds go towards a trust fund being set up for Craig’s family.
