NEWS: News.

B:Club members new and old are invited to make their own bus from recycled materials at the Four Seasons Shopping Centre on Monday 8th April between 11.00am and 3.00pm to celebrate the launch of the new bus station in Mansfield.

Using bottle tops and coloured paper, children can get creative whilst learning about recycling and the environment.

The workshop will aim to encourage children and parents to reduce their carbon footprint and become aware of local public transport options.

For those that are collecting points for Shop for Schools, there are 10 bonus points up for grabs for every child that attends the workshop.

Those that come to the workshop by bus will be able to collect an additional 10 points from the Service Desk at the new Bus Station, as part of this year’s Shop for Schools environmental initiative. Readers are also encouraged to collect their 50 points Shop for Schools Voucher in the CHAD this week.

Centre Manager Rebekah O’Neill said: “After the launch of the new bus station in Mansfield, we feel it is really important to encourage parents and children to consider the alternatives when travelling into town and look into reducing their carbon footprint.

“With the latest B:Club workshop, we hope that this raises that awareness and the children can have fun at the same time creating some exciting models. Please also don’t forget that new members are always welcome to our workshops. ”
