FOLLOWING a two-day independent assessment in June and July 2011, in which over 30 employees were interviewed, Ashfield Homes Limited was judged for the fourth time in 10 year history, as continuing to meet the Investor in People (IIP) standard.
Ashfield Homes is an Arms Length Management Organisation set up by Ashfield District Council to manage and maintain the Council’s housing stock and oversee significant investment in the housing stock.
The assessment identified the positive attitude of the company’s employees as a major factor in its success.
The IIP Assessor added that he considered the Company, in terms of open communication, support to employees and professionalism was even more impressive than it was when the company was last assessed, three years ago.
To achieve the status, Ashfield Homes had to demonstrate that the development of all it’s employees complied with the three key principles of Investors in People; Planning, Doing and Reviewing.
