ASHFIELD CAB will be holding a number of advice sessions in the New Year after they received an Awards for All lottery grant.
The advice sessions will take place at Huthwaite Health Centre on Monday mornings and Kirkby Community Primary Care Centre on Tuesday mornings. The advice sessions are for people who may be experiencing difficulties where practical advice can help.
“For a long time we have realised the direct link between advice and health,” said Sue Davis, chief executive at the bureau in Market Street, Sutton.
“We ran a pilot from the Torkard Health Centre in 2010 which proved very effective.
“As usual the only reason for not continuing the service was funding. I am very pleased that we are able to offer these sessions at two practices in Ashfield for the coming year.”
