Arsonists torch hedgerows in Pleasley

ARSONISTS are suspected of starting several fires in Pleasley on Saturday evening (20th April).

Fire fighters from Bolsover were called to the area of Outgang Lane where they were forced to tackle the blazes which included, a 200sq m banking and grass that had been torched, another area which included 50sq m of rough grass and two vehicle tyres set alight, 50m of hedgerow and grass and another area where 75m of hedgerow and grass had been torched.

After extinguishing the flames, the matter was left in the hands of the police.
