Appeal for donations by Bulwell Scope
The charity uses the money raised by its 250 charity shops to fund its important work supporting disabled children, adults and their families.
There are 17.6 million individuals who live in a family where someone is disabled, and 1.6 million live in a family with at least one disabled child. Scope provides support, advice and information to more than a quarter of a million people every year.

“Scope runs a lot of services in the local area and beyond that make a positive difference to the lives of disabled people and their families.
“Many people don’t realise that money raised by our shops goes towards this work. For example, it helps us to fund the Scope helpline, which offers advice and support to people in need.
“We really hope that people will get behind our shop and support our charity work by donating old clothes and goods that they no longer need.”
The shop is based at 20 The Clocktower, Commercial Road and is open Mon-Sat 9-5pm and is closed on Sundays. For more information call 0115 979 4512.
