Annesley workers put best foot forward for Oxfam

THREE caring Annesley-based workers successfully comleted a section of the 100km Oxfam Trailtrekker to raise thousands for charity.

Marc Randle. Anita Day and Claire Allen, who all work at logistic services firm Prolog, walked the 40km bronze section of the trail through the Yorkshire Dales.

The trio braved unpredicatble weather conditions and rough terrain to do their bit for the worthy cause.

Said Marc: “We elected to walk the 40km distance and pledged to raise £2000 for the Charity, Oxfam, which is enough to build a school, employ a teacher and buy some books”

Added Anita: “The Team worked extremely well together, supporting and encouraging each other throughout those difficult times.

“We are very proud of what we have accomplished, it is such an achievement.

“We would like to thank the excellent support team who ensured we were well fed and rested at the checkpoints.”
