CELEBITY chef Aldo Zilli has launched his own restaurant in the leafy surroundings of Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest.
The new Zilli Cafe is based in the holiday village’s award-winning Aqua Sana spa and follows the opening of similar restaurants at the Ollerton-based firm’s resorts, Longleat Forest and Elveden Forest.
Holidaymakers will be able to enjoy a menu designed specifically for Center Parcs by Aldo - including a mouth-watering selection of fresh and healthy dishes like salads and pasta specialities.
Said Aldo: “My first visit to Center Parcs was with my family and I was really blown away by the experience.
“It was an extremely well organised and sophisticated holiday and I particularly loved my trips to the spas. I’m thrilled to be providing a healthy Mediterranean diet for everyone visiting the spas.”
Zilli Café has replaced the existing Conservatory Café and can seat approximately 100 diners.
Center Parcs has signed a three-year franchise agreement with Aldo and chief executive Martin Dalby said he was confident the restaurant would be popular with visitors.
“We are thrilled to be working with such a highly respected chef as Aldo,” he said.
“We know that Zilli Café has been a huge hit with our guests at Longleat Forest and Elveden Forest and I am sure that it will be at Sherwood Forest too.
“Over the last four years we have invested a huge amount of money in our restaurants and bars at Center Parcs and the introduction of Zilli Café confirms our commitment to providing our guests a high quality range of dining experiences.
