Air ambulance lands in garden after Mansfield car crash

A Mansfield road had to be partially closed on Friday tea-time after a road collision.

The crash happened shortly after 5pm on Big Barn Lane and involved one vehicle, which is understood to have overturned after hitting a stationary car.

Big Barn Lane was closed from its junction with Eakring Road and Ling Forest Road while the emergency services dealt with the incident.

The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance was also called to the scene, landing in a garden close to where the crash happened.

It is not known if anyone was seriously injured in the crash.
