Fall down the rabbit hole and stop by the mad hatter’s tea party at the Ladybrook Community Centre for an afternoon of fun.

Ladybrook Enterprises Ltd is working with children’s centres in the area and throwing the family event.

Lian Nixon-Chater, 29, development worker for the group, said: “We are only charging £1 as we know that it can be a tough time for parents to try and find fun activities to keep little ones occupied during the holidays.

“We want the tea party to allow opportunities for different sections of the community to come together and reduce isolation.”

The fun day will provide lunch, crafts and games for families of all ages on Thursday, October 29 between 11am-2pm.

Tickets must be bought in advance for catering purposes and can be bought from the community centre and Sure Start centres
