Information about hundreds of leisure, cultural and fun activities to keep kids entertained throughout the school holidays is now available in Mansfield District Council’s What’s On Guide.
The Guide includes information about the Council’s Summer in the Streets programme, Party in the Park, Mansfield Museum’s summer exhibition and events, the Olympic Open Weekend event as well as sports, family fairground and arts and crafts activities.
Many of the holiday activities on offer are free of charge. The summer of fun will be running across the District until 4th September.
The Guide can be downloaded from the Council’s website www.mansfield.gov.uk and is also being handed out to local schools, leisure centres and community centres. It gives details of the full schedule of events and activities including dates, times and locations.
Tony Egginton, Executive Mayor, said: “As adults we see the school holidays as a challenge to keep our youngsters busy.
“The Council will be delivering a programme full of fun over the summer and I hope that everyone will enjoy and make the most of the activities on offer.”
