A WOMAN was taken to hospital with back injuries after a three-car smash in Mansfield on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision, which happened on Ratcliffe Gate at its junction with Broxtowe Drive at around 9am.
The cars involved were a Renault Megane, Seat Leon and Fiat Punto and one person had to be cut from their vehicle.
Traffic was diverted along nearby roads while emergency services dealt with the incident.
