A NINETEEN-year-old scooter rider has died following a crash in Pleasley on Thursday.
The local man was travelling along Water Lane towards Pleasley when his silver Peugeot scooter was in collision with a silver Vauxhall Meriva travelling in the opposite direction.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but died in the early hours of this morning (30th July).
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or the vehicles immediately before the collision to contact Det Con Paul Jaycock, from the Crash Investigation Unit, on 0300 300 9999, ext 816 2225.
