A MANSFIELD motorist caught defying a driving ban has been ordered off the road again.
Chesterfield magistrates were told officers were patrolling Weighbridge Road, Shirebrook, at 12.20am on 18th October.

They saw a parked Citroen Xsara and spoke to Oskar Salenieks, who said it was a friend's car and it had broken down.

Police then left, but parked a short distance away and saw him move the vehicle to the Sportsworld company car park.

Salenieks (30), of James Murray Mews, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance.

He had been banned from driving for 20 months in August last year for a drink-driving offence.

The bench ordered him to do 160 hours unpaid work and imposed a new, one-year ban, with £85 costs.
