A MAN who collapsed and died in a Mansfield pub had taken an overdose of amphetamine and suffered a heart attack, an inquest was told on Wednesday.
Mark Auburn (36), of Arnold Road, Nottingham, collapsed at the Reindeer Inn, on Southwell Road West, on 20th October last year –– the night after he had held a stag party to celebrate his impending marriage.

He was pronounced dead at King's Mill hospital later that night.

His friend Shane Gregory, who was with him on the night of his death, told the hearing at Mansfield Civic Centre: "I went to the toilet and when I came back he was on the floor with a crowd of people around him."

Nottinghamshire coroner Dr Nigel Chapman recorded a verdict of accidental death.
