AN inquest has been opened into the sudden death of Mansfield schoolgirl Terri-Ann James.
The 15-year-old was found hanged at her Greasley Court home on 16th February and was rushed to Mansfield's King's Mill Hospital for treatment.

The teenager, a pupil at Rainworth's Joseph Whitaker School and also an Army cadet in the area, was transferred to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre the following day but died in the early hours of 19th February.

Adjourning the inquest, the coroner said no post mortem had taken place and the cause of death had been recorded as hypoxic brain injury caused as a result of hanging.
