£10,000 reward offered following William Hill Robbery in Mansfield

Up to £10,000 has been offered as a reward following a robbery at a bookmakers in Mansfield.

The Association of British Bookmakers (ABB) have offered the reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the prosecution of the offenders responsible for a robbery at the William Hill bookmakers shop in the Ladybrook Shopping Precinct, Ladybrook Lane, on 9 November 2011.

Two men and a woman have already been arrested and bailed in connection with the robbery, however police are still appealing for witnesses and information.

A man walked into the betting shop at about 9.20pm. He threatened a cashier with a firearm before demanding she hand over cash.

A second cashier raised the alarm and the man left empty-handed.

There were no customers in the shop at the time and neither cashier was injured.

The cashiers described the suspect as being of medium height and build. He was wearing dark grey or blue jeans, a dark jacket with the hood up and dark gloves.
