CHART-TOPPERS The Feeling are to appear at Clumber Park this summer in a high profile concert sure to attract thousands of music lovers.
The Feeling, currently enjoying success at No.1 in the album charts with their new release 'Join With Us', have announced a live, one-off summer outdoor concert on Friday, 15th August 15.

The band are the third high profile name to announce a date in the area this summer, with The Zutons and Crowded House already pencilled in for the Sherwood Pines June music weekend.

The Feeling's concert will feature tracks from their new album – including the smash single 'I Thought It Was Over' - in addition to hits from the multi-platinum debut album 'Twelve Stops From Home', which featured tracks including 'Love It When You Call', 'Fill My Little World' and 'Never Be Lonely'.

Producer Andrew Wyke comments: "It's fantastic that The Feeling will be performing at Clumber Park this summer. They are acknowledged as one of the best live bands in the UK today."

Ian Deans, National Trust property manager of Clumber Park, said: "The National Trust are very pleased to be working in association with Musical Associates to bring The Feeling to Clumber Park.

"This is a real coup and builds on the success of Clumber Park over the years in staging open air concerts which have always had a great party atmosphere.

"Funds raised by the open air concerts at Clumber Park help towards carrying out vital conservation work needed at the property."

Demand for tickets is expected to be high when they officially go on sale at 9am on Monday, 10th March.

For a strictly limited period tickets will be available at £26 (plus booking fee).

The night will include a yet to be announced support band, DJ and firework finale.

Clumber Park has hosted thousands of concert-goers at the 3,800 acre site in recent years, and Mr Wyke added: "The combination of The Feeling and this magnificent historic parkland means this will be a great way to enjoy a really special event this summer."
