EDWINSTOWE Miners' Welfare is hosting a charity gig on Saturday in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign.
The event features five-piece rock and covers band The Rides, who will be playing an eclectic mix of music from The Beatles to the Kings of Leon.

It is one of a string of events being organised by band frontman Shaun Walker and girlfriend Ruth Hallam before they jet out on a charity expedition to Cuba.

Said The Rides guitarist Dave Sansom, of Edwinstowe: "It should be a really good night with something for everyone. We're just hoping loads of people will turn out to support this great cause."

Music starts 7.30pm and tickets are £3 on the door, with all money going towards the breast cancer campaign.
