It is the latest in the series of Candleit gigs - gigs at 'intimate' venues in front of just a small number of people - being organised at local venues by Pete Shields to bring quality acoustic music to the area.

Recently he announced that Palace Fires frontman Ed Bannard and singer/songwriter Damon 'Monski' Down will be playing at Mansfield Town Football Club on Friday 11th April.

  • Music first for Field Mill

He launched the gigs with one at Meden Vale as part of the Jont Unlit tour.

Linton Lad,

CAPOTE are quite simply sensational.
They are travelling down from Sunderland to play at our CANDLELIT evening in Meden Vale so please come out and support this astounding musical duo - you will not be disappointed.
They will have CD's for sale and at this type of intimate event you will have a rare chance to meet the lads who are destined for great things.
Please email me at axepete@aol.com if you wish to reserve tickets.
Thanks
Pete Shields*
