ELECTRIC blues specialists Storm Warning are set to thunder onto the stage at the Miller's Snooker Club in Kirkby on Thursday 19th June.
The five-piece features harmonica player and singer Son Maxwell, Bob Moore (guitar), Ian Salisbury (piano), Roger Willis (drums) and bassist Derek White –– and mix jazz and more traditional elements with blues at the heart of their sound.

Their debut album, 'Breaking Out', received rave reviews from specialist magazines in Britain and abroad and last year the band jumped at the chance to record a live session for Paul Jones' BBC Radio 2 blues programme.

Their increasing popularity has seen them play the UK's biggest blues festivals and other events further a field, including the chance to play in front of 5,000 people at the Rawa Blues Festival which was screened on national TV in Poland.

Recently, the band returned from a highly successful tour of Holland.

The tour is in support of 'Something Real', their eagerly awaited second album, which came out earlier this month and features eight original songs and a cover of a classic Lucky Peterson standard.

Ticket are £6 and £7 on the door and for more information on the band visit www.stormwarning.co.uk.
