THE Lammas, Sutton, was the setting for this Civil Defence Ladies Branch training around 1950-51, when the focus was on "how to make a perfect meal using two dustbins in the event of a nuclear war".
The photograph was submitted by Mrs Alcock, of Sutton, who says beef had never tasted so good!
