THIS photograph from 1941 of the fire watchers at Barringer, Wallis & Manners, Rock Valley, Mansfield, was submitted by Mr. B. Clarke, of Mansfield Woodhouse.
Mr Clarke's sister-in-law, Mrs Norma Taylor (nee Foster) is holding the styrup pump. She worked in the toolroom on the bandsaw during and after the war.
