Pupils at Excelsior School of Dance and Gymnastics in Mansfield Woodhouse are benefitting from a link up with housebuilder Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire.
Taylor Wimpey sales executive Julie Auckland recognised that the pupils, including her granddaughters Abbey and Emily, needed high visability vests to safely train.
Angela Stirland, founder of Excelsior School of Dance and Gymnastics, said: “We are located on an industrial park and twice a week we complete 20 minute stamina training sessions around the local area. These sessions usually take place as local workers are heading home and we were concerned for the safety of our pupils on the darker nights.
“We were thrilled to hear Taylor Wimpey would be happy to provide a large number of high vis jackets. All our pupils would like to thank Julie for helping to make their training sessions safer.”
Excelsior School of Dance and Gymnastics brings together a dedicated and experienced team of teachers, some of the largest and best facilities around and an exciting mix of classes.
Julie commented: “Having worked for Taylor Wimpey for many years I know that we’re always keen to get involved with local schools and clubs and I thought this would be the perfect way to get to know the community in Mansfield.”
