A regional house builder has launched a new funding scheme to help local communities across Nottinghamshire.
Persimmon Homes North Midlands has set up the trust to bring community organisations and businesses together in partnership to support local projects across the region with a donation of £500.
The house builder is calling on organisations of all kinds to get in touch, giving details of how £500 would make a difference for them and their local community efforts.
Persimmon Homes North Midlands, sales and marketing director, Mariana Knight, said: “As a leading business in the area, we feel it’s important to work together with the local community for the greater good.
“By funding projects through this new initiative, we hope to have a positive impact on community organisations needing a little help and support.
“Nominees could be local schools, charities, churches or community groups. We do not restrict any requests, so we’d urge anyone who thinks the money could go a long way to get in touch.”
Persimmon Homes North Midlands has 23 developments in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire made up of a range of two, three and four bedroom houses.
