Hallowe’en celebrations in Mansfield town centre
Visitors to Mansfield town centre on Saturday 27th October might be in for a bit of a fright as children take part in a free Hallowe’en crafts workshop.
Mansfield District Council and Mansfield BID will be helping children to make sure their Hallowe’en celebrations go down a treat by offering the chance to create their own friendly or frightening pumpkin.
The activity takes place at Mansfield Market Place between 11am and 3pm and is open to children aged four to 12 years. Pumpkins and carving equipment will all be provided. There are limited numbers (150 pumpkins available) so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Coun Kate Allsop, Portfolio Holder for Economic Regeneration at Mansfield District Council, said: “The pumpkin carving activity offers something fun and creative for kids to do to celebrate Halloween. I’d encourage families to come along and join in with the fun!”
