East Midlands children take part in Music for Everyone
Children from all over the East Midlands who love singing will be coming together in Nottingham on the weekend of the 19th to 20th of May to rehearse for a spectacular concert at Nottingham’s Albert Hall on Sunday 27th of May.
The big draw is the undying appeal of great Disney favourites including songs from The Muppets, Aladdin, The Lion King, Jungle Book, Tarzan and Toy Story.
This is the latest ‘Vocals’ event, run by Nottingham-based charity Music for Everyone, and designed to give children in school years 1 to 7 the thrill of performing as part of a mass choir and singing in smaller, age-related groups too.
Lots of enthusiastic young singers from Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire have already signed up to take part and the excitement is building. One parent said, “My son is loving being a part of the Vocals Disney event – he is so excited about the concert and has been singing the songs non-stop!”
With no auditions, Music for Everyone’s regular ‘Vocals’ happenings are open to all.
For more information about how to join in, just contact Music for Everyone by telephone 0115 9596484, email admin@music-for-everyone.org or visit Music For Everyone.
