Cosy-Group take town centre unit

AN estate agents and lettings firm has relocated from Forest Town to Mansfield as part of the company’s expansion plans.

Cosy-Group, which includes Cosy-Let and Cosy-Sales, has moved from its former headquarters in Forest Town to a spacious new shop on Albert Street in Mansfield.

The business began in Forest Town around five years ago but bosses decided to relocate to a new headquarters at 7-7A Albert Street, formerly the home of travel company, Hyde-Barker Travel.

Manager Helen Smith said the firm jumped at the opportunity to move when the town centre location became vacant.

“We’d got too big for Forest Town and wanted to move to a bigger and better premises,” she said.

“We’ve been taking on a lot more work and have increased our number of customers.”

After a busy summer of sales, Helen expects the lettings market to pick up in the next month as people look to be in new properties by Christmas.

“The school holidays are always a little quieter, but we expect September and October to be busier,” she added.

The firm’s website also has some handy information for anyone wishing to rent out their property.

“Our average turnaround from the point of landlords contacting us to checking the tenants into the property is approximately two to three weeks, so do not leave your property empty any longer when it could be earning you rental income,” it states.

Staff have been joined at the office by Just 4 Mortgages who will be providing mortgage and financial services advice on site, which staff say gives them a distinct over their competitors.

Cosy Sales also offers free rental valuation and market appraisal with more information available by visiting www.cosy-let.com, emailing helen@cosy-let.com or by contacting staff on Mansfield 420866.
