Published Date: 17 July 2008
AFTER walking around Mansfield on Wednesday 9th July at 11.30am, counting the shops closing every week, with a few dozen people only in the town, what did I see?
There were two new traffic wardens dishing out tickets like confetti on cars on deserted streets.

No wonder people don't bother with Mansfield anymore and shop out of town. Even the charity shops are closing down.

What a state to be in. There's a lot more work to be done, Mansfield District Council.

MICK KOZLOWSKI,
Rannoch Drive, Mansfield.
