I dreaded every meal in hospital

IN reference to the letter from Mr Lawrence (23rd April), yes, food is only secondary to care and attention in hospital, but Coun Llewellyn-Jones and Mr Allsop are quite right about the food at King's Mill.
I, too, was a patient there, and I also dreaded each meal, which was not just poor, it was revolting! Indeed, how the cook/chef or the kitchen staff had the nerve to pass that food to a sick patient I will never understand!

After all, sick people are in need of appetising food, not quantity but quality.

They need nourishment to help them to regain their health, so I do hope that since I was a patient at King's Mill the food is greatly improved.

If not, I have the utmost sympathy for the patients, particularly the ones who already had a poor appetite.

MARJORIE.
