FORESTRY chiefs have already announced two big acts to play outdoor concerts at Sherwood Pines Forest Park this summer –– and now they have tickets up for grabs.
Globe-trotting legends Crowded House are to play a spectacular, outdoor gig in front of a 5,000-capacity crowd at the park, near Edwinstowe, on 20th June.

And music fans are in for a treat the following day when up-and-coming indie rockers The Zutons take to the same stage.

  • Zutons coming to Sherwood Pines

Crowded House were originally formed in Melbourne in 1985 and have had a number of hits, while Liverpool-based band The Zutons have had huge success recently with various tunes hitting the charts –– including Valerie.

Last year, the 3,000-acre forest park staged two sell-out concerts by James Morrison and Travis and organisers are hoping this year's concerts will be just as successful.

Tickets for the Crowded house gig cost £30 and The Zutons £26. To book a ticket contact the ticket hotline on 01842 814612 or visit www.forestry.gov.uk/music.

However, Forestry chiefs are offering lucky Chad readers a chance to win two pair of tickets for each gig by answering the following question.

For your chance to be at the gigs for FREE, simply buy next week's Chad and enter the competition.
