Summer in the Streets fun underway
MANSFIELD'S Summer In The Streets festival is well underway.
The festival, in its sixth year of bringing fun, colour and entertainment to the town centre, was launched on Saturday with Maynard the Man in a Box and performances by the Dronfield Brass Band.
This weekend's street entertainment in the town centre will include skiffle band Railroad Bill, appearing at 11am, 12noon and 1pm.
And don't forget Schools in the Streets, which started on Monday with a rendition of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' and the well known 'Fame' by Newgate Lane Primary pupils.
Schools in the Streets gives local schools the chance to showcase pupils' talents every lunchtime in the Market Place, runs every weekday until Friday 11th July.
