St George's Day celebrations in Mansfield . . . now look out for a Maypole

STILT walkers, face-painters, St George and, of course, a dragon were all in Mansfield Market Place on Wednesday.
They were part of the St George's Day celebrations organised by Mansfield District Council (MDC), in conjunction with Mansfield Town Centre Partnership (MTCP).

The free fun in Mansfield Market Place this spring and summer continues on May Day, Thursday 1st May, with a 10ft high Maypole in the town centre.

Visitors, shoppers and children are invited to watch Morris dancing and have a go for themselves.
