WORLD renowned Mick Hucknall and his band Simply Red are to play at Sherwood Pines Forest Park next summer.
It will be one of a series of dates in woodland locations next summer as part of
Forestry Commission Live Music.
Mick Hucknall said: "As we had such fun performing a solo forest show at Westonbirt Arboretum this year, we decided it would be great to play all the forest concert venues around the country in 2010. It is a fantastic experience for a band to play in these unique settings".
The gig at Sherwood Pines - the latest in a series of big name artists performing at the forest park - is on Friday 18th June.
Tickets, priced £38 (subject to booking fee), will go on sale at 9am on Friday 6th November from ticket hotline tel 01842 814612 or online at
