MANSFIELD Party In The Park organisers have sent out a big thank you to people wanting to perform at this year's music festival.
Organisers say they have been inundated with promo CDs and DVDs and have been delighted with the quality of acts wanting to appear at the popular extravaganza - the flagship event of Summer In the Streets.

Music acts of all ages and genres had bee
n invited to come forward and showcase their talent, on 2nd August at Titchfield Park.

They will all feature alongside star attraction Andy Abraham, of X Factor and Eurovision fame, together with girl band Stonefoxx and a High School Musical tribute.

The acts chosen to appear at the event, organised by Mansfield District Council with Mansfield Town Centre Partnership, are currently being contacted.

Town centre events and promotions co-ordinator Lisa Vincent, organising this year's free one-day spectacular, said: "This just shows how many brilliant acts there are in the district."

A full running order for Party In The Park will appear at www.mansfieldtowncentre.co.uk

Revellers at this year's event are being advised that they can not bring their own alcohol to this year's Party In The Park. However, there will be a bar at the event.
