MANSFIELD mayor Tony Egginton presents 10-year-old Olivia Whittaker with a commendation after being crowned the World and European Irish Dance champion for her age group.
She won the contest at a major event in Germany earlier this year, beating youngsters in the final from Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Scotland –– and even Ireland.
Olivia is a member of the Gallagher O'Connor Dance Academy and the commendation from Mr Egginton says she has brought pride to Mansfield through her commitment to dance.
