MUCH Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare's celebration of love, intrigue and smouldering desires, will be performed n the beautiful surroundings of Thoresby Park on 20th June.
One of the Bard's most popular plays, this is the story of young lovers Hero and Claudio who are to be married in one week.

To pass the time, they conspire with Don Pedro to set a 'lover's trap' for Benedick, an arrogant confirmed bachelor, and Beatrice, his favourite sparring partner.

Meanwhile, the evil Don Jon conspires to break up the wedding by accusing Hero of infidelity.

In the end, though, it all turns out to be 'much ado about nothing'.

The family friendly production is performed by the multi-talented Oddsocks cast and Thoresby Park will be open for picnics during the day up to the performance.

  • Tickets are £5 to £10, with family tickets £28 from the box office on 0844 5865365 or from Thoresby Gallery.
