MAGIC will fill the air when budding young author Dr Harry Hope pays a flying visit to the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre on 26th May to promote his new young adult fiction novel The Elements of Lore.
The book –– which goes on general sale on 24th May –– follows the adventures of young Alex Fletcher and his journey into a world where science and magic combine.

The book signing and promotional day at the centre will feature a number of events including a children's competition and a talk by the author.

Said Dr Hope: "Due to my medical background and my passion for children I am donating a proportion of the author royalties of the novel to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust charity, which helps children and families who have come into contact with this fatal genetic disorder."
