KINGS Clipstone medium Barrie John will be spooking out Living TV viewers after joining the channel's Most Haunted team for some ghostly goings-on in their latest series.
He has filmed three episodes of the popular paranormal show after linking up with the team following his success at the National Spiritual Connections Awards, where he scooped the prestigious title of Best Up and Coming Medium for 2007.

Yesterday Barrie, who has been a medium for 15 years, told Chad he was delighted to have worked alongside Yvette Fielding and the team on the upcoming series.

"I have worked heavily with my mediumship over the years so I was thrilled when the Most Haunted team asked me to work with them," he said.

"I have filmed three episodes so far, one of which was at Oxford Castle, and I can honestly say everything on the show really did happen –– even I got a little spooked out.

"As the medium my role is to walk around the building and say what I am feeling and then the historian will say if I'm right and anything that I may have missed but he does not give me any information before hand.

"I absolutely loved working with the team and I'm currently in talks about doing further shows with them but I would also love to have my very own show one day."

Barrie says he was aware of 'spirit' from an early age, revealing how his first experience was a hand touching him on the staircase at a house where he and his family once lived.

"My mother's side were very mediumistic and I would love to listen to stories about table moving, and also my great grandmother reading tea leaves –– I always had a feeling that there was more to life than death," he said.

•Barrie's first show with Most Haunted is on Living TV at 9pm on Tuesday 18th March. Anybody wanting more information about Barrie or his paranormal events should visit www.barriejohn.com or contact him on 07968 368 708.
