MULTI-MILLION selling rock band Keane have been announced as the latest big-name act to take to the stage at Sherwood Pines next summer.
Keane –– who found chart success with singles Somewhere Only We Know, Is It Any Wonder? and Everybody's Changing –– will perform in the 5,000 capacity woodland on 19th June.
They will follow in the footsteps of a host of world-renowned stars to have played in the park, including Travis, Jarvis Cocker and Paul Weller.
The Sussex-based group, who have sold more than 10m albums, have three consecutive number one albums to their name and have won prestigious industry awards including BRITS, Grammys and an Ivor Novello award.
They wlll perform just 24 hours after pop legend Mick Hucknall and his band Simply Red appear at Sherwood Pines.
The concerts are organised by the Forestry Commission and money from ticket sales will be put directly into improving the nation's woodlands.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday and cost £32.
