MANSFIELD'S world famous Cantamus choir perform before a packed audience in Spain where they recently took part in a festival organised by the Cultural Association of Asturia.
The award-winning girls sang in two concerts with the Pro Musica Girls' Choir, with both organisations praised by local figureheads for their stunning performances.

During their visit the girls also watched a solemn ceremony by the penitents who carried the statue of the Virgin Mary through the streets of Oviedo accompanied by musicians playing bagpipes, cornets and drums.

Cantamus is still seeking ex-members who would like to celebrate its 40th anniversary this year in two concerts being organised in the autumn.
