DOCTOR Dolittle, the famous vet who can talk to the animals, comes to the Sheffield Lyceum Theatre from Tuesday 15th - Saturday 26th July.
Tommy Steele returns to the stage in the title role along with a huge company of singers, dancers, and puppeteers in this hit musical.

Immortalised in the hugely popular film, Doctor Dolittle is a world-renowned veterinarian who speaks a wide array of animal languages.

He sets off from his home in Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, England, in search of the Giant Pink Sea Snail.

Along the way, he and his friends meet such exotic creatures as the Pushme-Pullyu and the Great Lunar Moth.

The Oscar Award-winning score includes the hits If I Could Talk To The Animals, I've Never Seen Anything Like It and My Friend The Doctor.

Evening performances begin each day at 7.30pm, with matinee showings at 2.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Tickets are £16.50 – £30.50 with concessions available, and can be purchased by calling the box office on 0114 249 6000 or by visiting the Lyceum website at www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk
