IT'S scarcely credible that the former Mansfield Hospital seems set to continue as a disgusting eyesore.
This site, along with the old Mansfield Brewery, has been heaping shame on the town for far too long.

In the absence of viable deals being struck very quickly to enable both of them to be redeveloped, both these sites should be compulsorily purchased, cleared, and given over to something useful - like car parks.

With the price of scrap metal at the minute you would have thought the council could make some money from the compulsory purchase of the brewery.

With all of the eyesores in town, nobody seems to want to take the bull by the horns and sort it
