A KIRKBY man who head-butted a man in a Mansfield nightclub has been ordered to carry out 100 hours' unpaid work and pay his victim £100 compensation.
Richard Pilling (20), of Rowan Drive, admitted assaulting the man at the QI club in the early hours of 14th March when he appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday.

His barrister Julia King said: "It was an act of stupidity. He has learned his lesson."

Pilling will do the work as part of a 12-month community order.
