A RAINWORTH man has been arrested and charged after 29 cannabis plants worth around £7,000 were seized by police following a drugs raid.
Lewis Edward White (25), of North Avenue, was arrested and charged following a raid at the property on Thursday.

White was charged with cultivation of cannabis plants and possession of cannabis with intent to supply and will appear at Mansfield Magistrates' Court on Friday.

A MANSFIELD man has been banned from the road for three years for driving while over the drink-drive limit.

Fifty-four-year-old Christopher Muldoon failed a roadside breath test when he was pulled over by police near his Terrace Road home on 19th August.

In mitigation, the court was told on Wednesday that Muldoon had recently suffered a family bereavement and had substantial health problems.

Magistrates also ordered Muldoon to pay £150 fine, £60 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

  • MANSFIELD'S Jon Morris (20), of Bamford Drive, who denies stealing a Toyota Corolla and driving it dangerously on 17th May, was given unconditional bail by Mansfield magistrates on Wednesday and faces trial on 7th October.
