A RAINWORTH man who swore at police officers and doormen outside a Mansfield bar was given a conditional discharge by magistrates on Friday.
Mark Wallace (26), of Oak Avenue, was arrested in the early hours of 23rd August after doormen at Andwhynot called police for assistance when he was abusive to staff and demanded to be let back into the Leeming Street venue.

Mansfield magistrates were told Wallace ignored repeated warnings by police to calm down and continued to swear at officers and doormen before being arrested.

"I'm disgusted with myself," said Wallace. "I'm ashamed, I don't know what happened to me that night and it will never happen again."

Magistrates acknowledged Wallace was remorseful and gave him a six-month conditional discharge as well as ordering that he pay £60 costs.
